External Committees:

District 3 encompasses the city of Milpitas, parts of North Sunnyvale, parts of North Santa Clara, and parts of North San Jose. Communities and neighborhoods include the upper half of Sunnyvale and Santa Clara, north of the Union Pacific Railroad, as well as North San Jose, which include Alviso, Japantown, and Berryessa. Other landmarks include the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport and Mission College. Watersheds in District 3 include Lower Peninsula (Northwest Zone), West Valley (North Central Zone), Guadalupe (Central Zone), and Coyote (East Zone).
