Lesson 1:

2. Invite students to circle all the "information" about the watershed contained in the song as they listen to it.
3. Play the tape.
4. Discuss the facts that students identify.

Lesson 2:

1. Distribute the "Guadalupe Watershed" poem.
2. Divide students into pairs or trios.
3. Assign a different verse to each group. Ask them to illustrate it.
4. Recite the poem as a group. Have each group share their illustration at the appropriate time.
