Preparation
- Make copies of "Guadalupe Watershed" for students.
- Review poem and music tape.
Lesson 1:
- Distribute the "Guadalupe Watershed" poem.
- Invite students to circle all the "information" about the watershed contained in the song as they listen to it.
- Play the tape.
- Discuss the facts that students identify.
Lesson 2:

- Divide students into pairs or trios.
- Assign a different verse to each group. Ask them to illustrate it.
- Recite the poem as a group. Have each group share their illustration at the appropriate time.
