Valley Water encourages residents to participate in the AlertSCC, the Santa Clara County emergency alert system.
AlertSCC is a free, easy, and confidential way for anyone who lives or works in Santa Clara County to get emergency warnings sent directly to their cell phone, mobile device, e-mail, or landline. AlertSCC can reach you wherever you are to provide information and instructions in a variety of emergency situations, which may include:
- Flooding, fire, earthquake, severe weather, crime, wildfires and subsequent evacuations
- Public safety incidents, including crimes, that immediately affect your neighborhood
- Post-disaster information about shelters, transportation, or supplies
Information you provide in AlertSCC is confidential, secure, and can be deleted at any time. The information is used only by authorized County or city personnel and it is not shared with any private company.
