District 4 is centered on Campbell and the Blossom Hill area of San Jose (San Jose City
Council District 9). District 4 also includes part of San Jose west of Highway 17 and east
of San Thomas Expressway. The entire Almaden Valley (San Jose City Council District 10) is
in District 4. The balance of District 4 is the northern portion of San Jose’s Almaden Valley
and northwestern Oak Grove Elementary School District (also in San Jose). District 4 only
extends as far north as the Campbell city boundary. Cities, places and neighborhoods include
Cambrian Park, Campbell, and San Jose (Blossom Hill, Almaden Valley (part), and Santa
Teresa (part). Watersheds include Guadalupe and West Valley. School Districts include
Cambrian Elementary (part), Campbell Union Elementary (part), Campbell Union High (part),
East Side Union High (part), Moreland Elementary (part), Oak Grove Elementary (part),
San Jose Unified (part), and Union Elementary (part).

Linda J. LeZotte was re-elected to the Board in 2014 and served as Chair of the Board in 2012.

Campbell, portions of the Willow Glen and Cambrian communities, and North Almaden and
Blossom Hill areas of San Jose. Linda is a local attorney with 30 years of practice specializing
in the areas of land use, environmental and municipal law, and corporate development.

For eight years, Linda served as a distinguished member of the San Jose City Council leading
the green building/sustainability policy discussion, and six years as a San Jose Planning
Commissioner. She is one of a select group of Silicon Valley and California attorneys who are
accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design Accredited Professional) in new construction.

Linda chaired the Joint Venture Silicon Valley Sustainable Buildings Initiative, and served on
the Bay Area Climate Collaborative-Green Building Group, and the Cities Association Green
Building Collaborative. She is also on the Advisory Board of Sustainable Silicon Valley.
